We’ve been baking and we’ve been cooking. Our limited time products have been going crazy lately, and we reckon this one’ll be a hit too.

The Chicken Empanada Sausage Roll takes its cue from the old-school Iberian empanada. We’ve taken that classic combination and given it a shape that feels a little more familiar in an Australian bakery cabinet.

Inside you’ll find plenty of chicken, boiled egg, green olives, onion and garlic, with a good hit of smoked paprika and juicy currants bringing a little sweetness to the mix. It’s savoury, smoky, salty and just a touch sweet, with plenty going on in every bite.

Then we’ve wrapped it all up in our buttery, flaky pastry and baked it until golden.

It’s a filling with plenty of history behind it, just presented in a slightly different way.
