Easter 2026 has landed at Bourke Street Bakery, and the ovens are working early and often.
Our Traditional Hot Cross Buns are back – fruit-packed, gently spiced and baked fresh daily. Available in six or fifteen packs, they’re made for long weekends, shared tables and thick swipes of butter. Prefer something richer? Our Chocolate & Cranberry Hot Cross Buns (four or fifteen packs) fold dark chocolate through soft dough with bursts of tart cranberry. A little less traditional, still properly baked.
Alongside the buns, we’ve brought back a few favourites. Our housemade Rocky Road is loaded and generous, and the Chocolate Amaretti deliver that chewy centre with deep chocolate and almond notes – ideal with a mid-morning coffee or passed around after lunch.
New to the line-up this year is our Easter Biscuit – simple, nostalgic and made for gifting (or keeping to yourself).
And returning for another season is our Spiced Rum Butter, created in collaboration with Red Mill Distillery. Whipped, spiced and made to melt straight into a warm bun, it’s the one thing you didn’t know you needed until you try it.
Everything is handmade daily using the best ingredients we can get our hands on. Available in-store and online for pre-order.
