
For the past six years, our Flourless Lemon Cake has been more than just a dessert – it’s been part of countless birthdays, farewells, and everyday moments worth celebrating. With its bright citrus flavour and soft, melt-in-your-mouth texture, and delicate rose petal garnish, it quickly became a fan favourite and a Bourke Street classic.
Behind the scenes, Paul has been busy testing and trialling a whole range of cakes over the past few months, searching for something that could follow in the Lemon Cake’s footsteps. And now, the time has come.
While we say goodbye to the Flourless Lemon Cake, we’re excited to welcome its successor on Wednesday 27, August: the Flourless Orange & Cardamom Cake with Hibiscus Icing. A little spiced, a little floral, and every bit as celebratory, it carries forward the tradition of flavour-packed, flourless cakes made for sharing.
We’ll always have a soft spot for the Lemon Cake, and we know many of you will too. But we can’t wait for you to taste this new chapter in our cake story.
