Our matcha is stone-ground, sourced directly from Shizuoka, Japan, and is organic, gluten-free, and vegan-friendly. It comes from the first harvest, using only the highest quality tea leaves to ensure a vibrant colour, deep umami flavour, and naturally sweet finish.
This pure, single-origin matcha is grown in the Tenryu region of Shizuoka, a place known for its pristine environment and rich tea-growing heritage. The leaves are shade-grown for up to two weeks before harvest, then carefully deveined, stone-ground, and packed at the source. This traditional method preserves its delicate vegetal notes and smooth texture – perfect for sweet creations or a silky matcha latte.
